I love the expressions on young kids’ faces when they see character cake pops. They linger around the cake pops, and seem mesmerised. The boy who came with his mom to pick them up wasn’t the birthday boy, but the birthday boy’s younger brother. He kept staring at the pops, so his mother let him pick one.
His choice of the lot? I would have picked a more complex ‘face’, maybe the pirate, or the moustache man, probably because more effort went into it. But young kids are beautiful in their simple approach – he picked the third from right, the classic Lego head.
