Sweet jungle animals cake pops

I’ve made jungle animal cake pops before. The client liked those but requested that hers be cute and girly for her little girl’s do. Actually, making a face ‘girly’ was harder than I originally thought. When I first started, I use my previous jungle animals as a base but they didn’t look right, even with eyelashes and bows. What makes a girl? Luckily, the client had sent me her invite and party backdrop and I used elements from the invite. Pink antlers for a giraffe? Believe or not, it makes a difference, and turns the animals more ‘feminine’! Strange how our brains process stuff…

She also very kindly sent me photos of the party and buffet table, (which she styled herself!) and gave me permission to use them. I am constantly amazed at how the right setup brings the cake pops to life. Love how this table has come seamlessly together,
