
If you’ve seen or heard the ads, The University of Western Sydney has been named one of the world’s top 400 universities, the top 2%. I feel like top 2% too after completing this order for their open day.
The cake pops coincided with a re-branding effort and I was tasked to colour match the cake pops to their new logo. Colour matching chocolate is not an easy task. A printer prints a certain colour by combining several different colours together in precise quantities. When colouring chocolate, you add a drop here and a drop there and then eyeball it. Luckily, my years in the printing and publications industry has schooled me about the properties of different colours.
I like this hue. There is an excitement and vibrance that red conveys, but this red with a hint of black also conveys tradition and wisdom.
