Giraffe cake pops

These were for a young boy’s birthday. He loves giraffes and they are his favourite animals, so his dad got him giraffe cake pops instead of candles.

I have been asked about standing cake pops in cake, and I generally don’t recommend it. Firstly, the cake needs to be dense enough to hold the cake pop. The cake pops do weigh quite a bit, about 50 gms, which doesn’t sound much, but is much more than a candle! Secondly, they may not stand very upright. Thirdly, I’m not fond of sticky cake pop sticks.
