Mermaid cake pops

These are very pretty pops, but I’ll have to admit, I didn’t dream them up. I was given a photo by a customer, (as you do with photos nowadays, you just click and save image) and with a bit of work, I’ve managed to track the originals down to this blog.

I am still not very sure who did the cakes, but the entire set up is such eye candy. The real beauty in this, I think, is how simple every design is. It’s just a simple icing on the cupcake, and simple lines on the cake pops, and simple scales on the cake, but the colour scheme and how everything ties together makes it divine.
