Aeroplane cake pops
Wings, or anything that juts out, can be tricky on cake pops. If you join them to the main body, they will appear seamless but the shape will run once they are all coated in choc. If you attach say, a fondant piece to the main body, these become brittle and can snap. Aeroplanes with broken wings would not be a good look for a party! So these wings were carefully designed to be of the same colour and texture as the body, but to be tough enough to press on and not break.
These planes were made for Mont Blanc, in celebration of their Le Petit Prince classique ballpoint pen, on the Sydney Glass Island. Those who have read or seen the movie, would know why the red plane.
